The Ingraham House Concert Series—intimate live music venue.

When we first walked through our grand old house—built in 1890 by William S. Ingraham of the Ingraham clockmakers—we marveled at the space we now call, after doing some homework, the grand foyer.  “Wow.  What a great place to hear live music.”

In March of 2011, a casual conversation with a customer yielded our first opportunity to test the space.  We booked New Haven-based Goodnight Blue Moon and Binghamton, NY-based Driftwood for our first house show, not really knowing what to expect besides a good time.  We were wrong, of course.  It was a phenomenal time, a life-changing experience.  The music was great!  The room sounded fantastic!  Our wonderful friends from Broadview Manor generously catered the evening with delicious refreshments and libations and our fantastic guests enjoyed themselves immensely!  We vowed more concerts.

So we built a concert series that has featured the great New England-based Mark Erelli, the Tennessee-based blue grass of the Barefoot Movement, the incredible Jamie Kent from Nashville by way of Northampton, songwriter and cellist extraordinaire Ben Sollee, the traditional Irish music makers The Press Gang from Portland, ME, and the phenomenal gypsy jazz group the Rhythm Future Quartet, among others.  We look forward to sharing our special venue with you!
